For this shoot I asked entertainer Hans Rek to join us at the Scheveningen harbour. Hans is a well known jester ( Johannes de Nar ) in the Dutch Gothic/fantasy scene and he's an actor that you might have seen flash by in a whole bunch of commercials and flicks (Duece Bigalo 2 for instance)
Anyways, I decided to capture a whole different side of this colorful character in this black/white/urban/cold/rain/brrrrr extravaganza shoot! I agree that it all looks rather depressing, but I can assure you that we did a LOT of laughing between the shots and we had a great time!
